Javier Jimenez is a self-taught illustrator and character designer based in Granada. His style is influenced by kaiju movies, toys, classic cartoons, urban and Japanese culture and hip hop. For most of his digital works he relies on vectors, giving a clean and eye-catching vibe to his illustrations. In love with crime movies and TV show, he sees kaiju monsters as gangsters whose existence is dedicated to committing crimes and making people suffer...but on a higher level.

Through his original characters he mixes the urban and the traditional folklore from different cultures, giving birth to unique creatures with their own crazy stories. Javier started working as a freelance artist back in 2011, when he realized that creating was his calling. Since then, he has been working for different clients and brands while working on his own personal projects too.
